You may be running into a character wrap problem (the output line is too long, the printer wraps the line, and then VFP sends an end-of-line (CR/LF pair), your detail area, which was set up in Windows, may be getting intepreted as double spaced ASCII (it'd send a pair of CR/LFs after each detail line) or the printer may be set up to respond to do a line feed in response to both a CR (chr(13) and an LF (chr(10)) - you'll need to look at the output with a text file editor with word wrap turned off at a minimum, and may need to kludge with the output file or report format to fix it, depending on what you find.
