I just bought Jim Booth and Steve Sawyer's book Effective Techniques for Application Development using VFP6.0. What an incredible book!! One of the biggest problems I've had with VFP is the large number of choices you have to accomplish a task, and not knowing which way is better or why. This book goes a long way in pointing you in the right direction, and answering the "why this way" question with real world examples. If you have a pretty good handle on the language itself and want to understand the how and why of App development, I would highly recommend it.
