If you are working in a form you can use the Keypress Event.
If you are working in a loop you can place a nKeypress = INKEY(.1) in the loop and then check the value of nKeypress.

>is there a replacement for chrsaw.
>I need something that can tell me whether a key has been pressed in say the last 10 secs.
>chrsaw(10) actually waits for a keypress, and makes the curser go in busy.
