Title:
TeleMagic 3.5 - Cant alias database
Every once and awhile, I come upon a problem that I cannot get around. This is my latest one. I have been asked to write a small program that will create dbfs that TeleMagic can import. I also need to remove duplicates. All straight forward and simple right? NOt quite.
If I open contact1.dbf and try to alias it, I get the error "alias contact1 is not found". I am using the following code where gctm is the location of the database.
select 0
use &gctm.contact1 alias d0contact excl
The thing I find odd is that if I just use it, I do not get any errors. Also, if I open it in foxpro 2.0 I get a different error. I can use it and view it, but if I use it and try to alias it, I get an error telling me that the file is not open.
I have run dbrx on this dbf and it says it is ok. I thank everyone in advance for any leads they might have for me.
