I have a problem with grouping on my report. I fill up a cursor using a select statement. I get all the information I want in the cursor. But all my information shows up too many times.

This is the information in my cursor

vx002 | forms package| 1 | cb200 | Travel | 7
vx002 | forms package| 1 | cb110 | Tourism | 8
vx004 | envelopes | 2 | cb200 | Travel | 7
vx004 | envelopes | 2 | cb110 | Tourism | 8

The material ID shows up twice because there is two textbooks assigned to a student. If I group by matkey on the report and put MaterialID and Description fields in there only one of the records should show up for each. And if I group by cmkey the textid and textname should show up only once. But this is what my report looks like

vx002 forms package
cb110 Tourism

cb200 Travel
vx004 envelopes
cb110 Tourism

It repeats this process for the number of materials I have. Is there a way that I can print only the textid and textname once and the the materials needed once. Thanks for any help.
