I'm using text boxes to display very long text strings (> 2K) in a read only fashion.

The form has a page frame which contains a number of text boxes that are very wide. I scroll the data by changing the "Left" property of the text boxes to negative values.

I have found that in my application the data in the text box stops displaying at random points between 1000 and 1100 characters.

I tried to simplify the problem by creating a form outside of my application with the minimum needed to reproduce the problem. In this situation, the data stops displaying at position 255 for all the text boxes.

Does anyone know what's happening here, and how I can get the data to display to at least 2000 characters?
