Yep - and it's in the Windows Help File System. Before posting questions looking to support clients, I usually try to exhaust my resources on hand. Maybe www.ntfaq.com is asking too much, even though it's free, and you can download the comipled CHM for free, stuff in the Windows Help isn't. I think we call this being lazy...

>>NT doesn't use CONFIG.SYS - you can look at changing the default configuration for VDMs for NT, or modifying the PIF settings for the executable to have a custom VDM environment. I'd suggest using the Windows NT Help system, or investigating this further on www.ntfaq.com - they have a rather comprehensive FAQ on NT issues. A hint - if you right click on a DOS executable in Explorer and select the Property sheet, there's a ton of stuff that can be configured.

The Microsoft curriculum for the NT Workstation exam is quite comprehensive, and there are plenty of study guides and references available from third-party sources as well. You'll find it more and more difficult to function in the NT environment (and the Win2K environment, which becomes a live issue February 17th) without some basic understanding of how the things work. NT is not Win95.
