I just tested a memvar (replicated) in edit box, out of curiousity, and it holds 2000 chars with no problem. System capacities says 2 gigs is memvar length limit, but this is, of course limited by memory. Anyway, it looks like this is not a vfp bug...are you sure you have sufficient memory allocated?
