This is in followup to a question that came up in the study group tonight. The issue is this:

If you manually set your version number (Build screen|Version option), and forget to increment the version number between builds, the setup will not overwrite the first EXE with the second, because it is seen as being the same version.

So, for example I do a build with version = 2, create setup disks, and send them out to my users. Then later, I want to send out updates. I rebuild the EXE but forget to increment the version (it is still 2), and send out new setup disks. The first EXE will not overwritten by the second.

The solutions are:

1. Don't use versioning (bad choice IMO)
2. Use manual versioning and never forget to change it (not likely, eh?)
3. Use automatic versioning (why not!?)
