Here at LoboSoft, we keep our builds from project start to project end, and then about 6 months after full release/delivery.

This will help if a copyright dispute comes up, and you need to take the matter to court.

Secondly, in order to prevent what happened this time with the ISP, have the ISP sign a non-disclosure agreement between his COMPANY and yourself. Basically it states that he understands that everything you put on your site is still your property, and that he is merely storing it for you.

Lastly, wrap your software, if possible, in a shell that requires the user to agree to the licensing agreement, before the can use it. Netscape, Microsoft, and Borland all hae installs that require a confirmation before usage.

No, this won't STOP decompiling and pirates. It will help to prosecute them if you can catch them.
