In Foxpro 2.6 for windows the ability to select the printer and portrait/landscape is to my mind rather cumbersome. The set device to printer prompt on works when the printer is in an undefined state. I have noticed that the same is true in Visual Foxpro.
I am looking for a better way to handle printer selection, number of copies, landsacpe/portrait and pages than is currently available in Foxpro. My users complain about having to go to several dialog boxes and it would be nice not to have keep putting the printer in an undefined state to active the dialog box. I would like to find a tool that put all the printer functions on one dialog. I would like to be able to call it without having to put the printers in an undefined state. I would also like to have some functions that I could call so I knew what the user had set (ie landscape mode, which pages, number of copies, color, which printer etc.). Does such a tool exist? What are some suggestions.
