I am running into this more and more. I have fields on my reports that show ******* where a small number is. The SQL query is creating some fields as big as 19,2 because I am doing some totals etc in the SQL. It appears that the field on the report has to be able to handle the entire 19,2 or it gives the ********. Is there any simple way to get the report writer to show these fields?

I know I can dictate the width of my fields in the SQL result with some work. Like create another cursor and append from the first or use TRANSFORM() but there must be an easer way. (I hope. I got a lot of reports to do with a lot of fields.)
