>I am having a problem with GETDIR and I can't figure out what is going on. GETDIR is returning a numeric (1) but if I SET STEP ON before the call to GETDIR it returns the correct character string. Also, if I run the GETDIR command two times in a row, one after another, the first one returns a numeric and the second one returns a character. I have tried retyping the code and that didn't make a difference. The code is basically:
>
>LOCAL lcpath
>
>lcpath = GETDIR("X:\RESELLER\", "Locate Images")
>

Does this happen for you at the command window? How about in a dumb for with a single button? If not, can oyu narrow down the difference between the working and non working scenarios?
