Hi all,

Just wanted to know if anyone else has any experience using IBM DB2 as a back-end to a VFP client/server app. There appears to be an issue with datetime fields and how they are mapped to the back-end. I guess DB2 stores dates and times as separate fields (unlike Oracle and SQL Server) so we're looking for a workaraound because all our date and times are stored in a single field (datetime).

I'm using remote views on the front-end with datetime fields in the view. We don't want to change our GUI so that all dates and times are stored apart from one another because that would involve a major data model/structure change and would not be compatible with Oracle and SQL Server.

Thanks for your help!
