Right... also, wouldn't the call to the message program pass the message?

Also, your message prompted me to try to get a reference to the debugger, but I couldn't. I even tried it when running the Trace window in the VFP frame. Very interesting that I couldn't. Seems that it would be nice if the Object moedl of the debugger was exposed the way the class browser is. Of course, the Class browser is writtin in VFP, where I am sure the debugger is written in C++.
