another general question to all:

any good books on crystal out there for programmers?

>>The general conclusion is that getting crystal to talk to foxpro is much muckier than it ought to be.

>I think, that would be not permitted by foxtalk, because of copryrights. Though i don't know the contents, I find this conclusion rather strange.

>Well, O.K. I know you've got to work trough ODBC or FOX 2.6 tables, but for the rest i find it's quite straightahead.

>I must admit that it cost me a lot of time to intergrate it with my framework. But from now on its almost as easy as using native VFP reports. The only drawback I'm experiencing is that I must convert each table to be reported into a FPW 2.x format and use *.IDX indexes. But once you know this, it's quite comfortable to work with CR.

Prayer of St Ephrem:
O Lord and Master of My Life,
Take from me the spirit of sloth, meddling, ambition and vain talk.
But give me a spirit of prudence, humility, patience and love.
Yes Lord and King grant me to see my own sins and faults
and not judge my brother.
For You are Blessed Forever and Ever. Amen.
