I kind of think you're right. I used the ITC openURL() to get the handle, and (at the moment i was feeling clever) then called InternetConnect with the handle. I'm sure ITC just issued his own connect after mine. ITC screams w/o any problems If I have the hub all to myself, dialing up from home office, and brown outs are low. I think the problems I need to compensate for, have nothing at all to do with ITC's features or reliability, BUT, it would sure be nice to have a tad bit more control over WININET!
