Does anyone have an opinion on/experience with the concept of using VFP Remote Views of SQL Views as opposed to VFP Remote Views of SQL tables directly? I have "heard" that views of views are advantageous - especially for multi table joins - because the joins "happen" on the back-end and also because it opens up more securtiy options. Is there any truth to this or does it matter? Any other reasons for doing it one way or the other?
