>Now I'm trying to get the grid on page two to allow me to edit a column. Ingrid is preventing me from editing this column and I think that I must have to use another grid - maybe even the VFP baseclass grid?
You mean allow users to edit info in the grid? If so - yuck. I like to avoid making grids editable so I can't help with this. In context of MMF classes though, I prefer to use CListObjEdit grid, then launch a separate edit form instance of CListObjEditForm from the Add/Edit buttons or Dbl-click on grid. FWIW a separate edit form may seem like extra work at first, but the framework makes it easy and once you deal with allowing user to edit info a grid you'll realize pretty quick what a bear that can be.
Now if you mean edit a column in design time... like to replace the default textbox there's a simple VFP trick to that. HTH
