What I do is create a second copy of the form if I am going to do a large amount of changes. If I ever really mess things up I can also delete it and start over with the original.

I you have your source code on a Novell volume you can get older versions of the files back using the "filer" command.

Another way is to do backups to tape every night. You can then restore an old copy if needed.
