Yes, we have had some problems with the Dells. But, we are not sure if they are Dell problems or problems caused by loading Office 2000, VFP or any other program with its own dll files. We have had some lockups in Office and some machines frequently refuse to shutdown. We haven't had a chance to test the server yet, but I'm hoping it doesn't suffer the same problems after loading SQL Server and some diag tools. As I stated before, I have always preferred Compaq servers, but the every manufacturer's desktop PCs get messed up with the dll mess.
