I used VFP middle tier components to generate XML from a database and pass it to and from a web page in a web prototype I was working on. On the web page, I bind the data to DHTML contols using the XML DSO. This works real well for working with a local data cache in a web browser. Use XMLHTTP control to messenger the XML strings back and forth.
