Do you mean to make the table (or its copy) free and drop the index?
If I try to connect to the table using ODBC driver and "lying" that it is a "free table", it does not see the table (I can point to it in the browse window, but when I press OK, the only tables in the list are the real free tables).
I've tried to connect to free table with Deleted() index and result was the same (ODBC did not like it).

I'll keep trying.
