I don't really use the component gallery, so I'm not an expert on what can break with it. You might try an install to see if that helps with some system component that might have been corrupted.

Do you have problems with crashes while the Class browser or component gallery are running?

>Well got rid of vfpglry.dbf. Then it had an error with vpf catalog.dbf. Got rid of that. Next it was my classses catalog.dbf, favorites.dbf and then activex catalog.dbf. Got rid of those and component gallery did come up, it had no items. So I picked a sample catalog and it bombed. I wonder if I reinstall now will it put all the deleted dbf back and make my component gallery work again?
