Yep - it's a folder, and can be shared jsut like any other folder.

You need to have File and Printer Sharing service installed on your machine. If you have a security provider on your network (you need to have either a Nocvell server or be a member of an NT domain) I strongly suggest using User-level sharing when giving access to a crucial resource like the desktp.

Go into Windows Explorer, and find the \Windows\Desktop folder. That's your desktop. Right Click and select "Sharing"...makes its own sauce.

I strongly recommend against sharing it read-write, since anyone who gets write permissions can do a lot of damage very quickly, accidentally or intentionally.
