Eric,

I use Delphi nearly as much as I use VFP and I can tell you that comparing the two is not really a good idea. VFP is and always will be a RBDMS and it makes the manipulation of data easy. Delphi, on the other hand is a general purpose development system and although you can do data in it, once you get out of the simple stuff, doing data in Delphi gets to be a real pain especially when you're used to VFP!

So I use both as necessary.

I've always felt that Delphi is what Visual Basic should have been but M$ got it wrong!
