This is great, but I need to check the Business rules of the record before I move to the next record.

Also, the PreMoveRecordPointerHook call in the First, Prior, Next, and Last methods should allow a negative value to abort the operation, shouldn't it?

Unfortunately, I don't have the Framework in front of me, but if the grid class you're using doesn't have this behavior, you can see how to implement it in one of the other classes...I think CListObj has the behavior you're looking for.
