I've created a view on a TAP customer file. It contains a zero-filled customer number c(5) and other fields. I've joined in a master file that has a similar key, where the name, address, etc. is stored. The fields for the TAP customer are all updatable, but the files from the master file are not updatable. When I add new records to the TAP file or change the values the TAP customer file updates correctly. When I delete a TAP customer file, I get the following error message:

Error 1492: No key columns are specified for the update table "mastcus". Use the KeyFieldList property of the cursor.

Is VFP trying to delete the Master record?

Any Ideas?
