I have been creating VFP6 objects and then calling them via ASP. Until now I have been doing the development on my Win'98 laptop and using an NT4 server for IIS. But whilst travelling I have recently started using Personal Web Server 4.0 on the laptop, it does work great except stopping it doesn't relase my object and I can't build a new one, get exclusive access to the data etc.

When I want to release the object on IIS4 it's easy. I just stop the W3 service, and it's released. However with PWS4 stopping has no apparent effect, only restarting the PC. This is a major pain and batterry drain!

Help and suggestions much appreciated.
