>We have an NT Workstation and are trying to get it to run FP2. We receive a too many files open message when the 4th database table loads. I included files=100 in the config.sys but this doesn't seem to help. (I'm unfamiliar with NT Workstation, all other workstations are win98 and increasing the number of files in the config.sys makes FP2 work fine). Any suggestions?

NT doesn't use CONFIG.SYS; there is a CONFIG.NT that serves much the same purpose.

You can have a separate CONFIG.NT and AUTOEXEC for each DOS executable by going into Explorer, right-clicking the item and selecting Properties.

I'd advise you to go out to www.ntfaq.com for more information. There's also coverage of configuration for DOS executables in the NT Help system.
