You can check the current resolution with sysmetric(), at startup, or maybe when loading a form, but that of course is just the beginning, you could put code in your form so it resizes itself and rearreanges it's controls accordingly, I've never tried it, but unless it's a very simple layout I doubt the result will look pretty. Another option would be having a different set of forms for each resolution.

About the font, I'd stick with Arial, because it's a common standard, there shouldn't really be a reason for changing the font size, IMO, if the user has his 14" monitor at 1024 x 768 with small fonts it's his choice, I do for one (actually had to change to large fonts because some web pages look too small), and hate it when a program is not using the windows font size and makes it smaller or larger.

I usually just stick to the minimum and make sure the screen fits into a 640 x 480 screen, but sometimes that's just not enough space. An overly crowded form can be confusing anyway, you can use (not abuse) pageframes to organize the data displayed and make it easier for the user ... and yourself.
