I had never thought to release the reference. In IIS it just keeps it no matter what you do, and so you have no choice but to just stop the W3 service to get access to the files again.

I haven't tried using MTS yet, as I wanted to get the hang of the simple concepts first (such as automation servers) and then get the hang of the MTS. I have a feeling that time has come!

Where does the MTS explorer live? Are there any good examples anywhere of FoxPro objects being used inside MTS?
