I think it does that only to the controls you haven't clicked, anyway it's easy to mess things up if you accidentally skip one. Have you tried using the "by list" option rather than the interactive one (Options->Forms->Tab ordering), you can edit all ytou want there, it's still hard with a lot of controls, specially if you didn't give them a significant name. The easiest option is clickin on "By row" or "by column" (those appear when you're using "by list") and then manually alter the ones you need in a special order

>*sigh* I hope this isn't something much talked about here, but I'm having a really wierd problem with the Tab Order on a VFP 5 form. Interactively changing it on the form produces some very odd results. Does anyone know of a bug with the Tab Order change view on a form and then a work-around? This has nothing to do with the TabStop setting... This form has *many* controls on it. If I start setting the tab order of controls sequentially, at some point (inconsistently) the order of a previously clicked control will change spontaneously! After that, things start messing up quick. Sometimes the changes aren't saved either. What gives?
