Hi Scott,

Have you tried www.y2kfox.com ? I believe that they have software to deal with Btrieve.

Gavin...

>We need to move our existing Link off of the tool we use to access Btrieve. It is call RaSQL and it is hard coded to use IPX/SPX. Our accounting package (Solomon) seems to have some issues with IPX/SPX but not with TCP/IP. We're exploring moving to ODBC to gain access to SSQL/Btrieve/Solomon.

We want to be able to gain access to the underlying Btrieve file system using ODBC (either directly or via Scalable SQL, not sure). Do these ODBC drivers exist? If so are they 16bit, 32 bit or do both 16 and 32 bit ODBC drivers exist? We are hoping for 16 bit since that is the level of technology our development tools are at (FoxPro 2.6 for Windows). Does anyone know if these ODBC drivers ship with Solomon? Are the Solomon drivers available to be called and used by external applications? Anything you can tell us may be of use in answering this question.
