There is an RTF control available that allows you to do formatting such as this. However, VFP's report writer will not render the RTF formatting code to produce the same formatting in your printed reports. I have heard that Crystal Reports can do this. I have not tried.

>VFP6.0. I have a letter stored in a memo field which I print out through the VFP report writer using a non-postscript laser. I need to be able to put some words in bold text. Is there any way to accomplish this within Foxpro without doing a Foxpro-Word mail merge (possibly a control code before and after the word in the memo field) ???
