>Has anyone had experience with vfp locking up on a machine when either printing a report or previewing a report after viewing 5 or 6 pages? I have one person out of ~70 who keeps doing this. It only happens on two reports, the first one opens a bunch of cursors and the second builds off of the first and adds a few more cursors. I'm thinking it has to be some sort of memory problem. With a VFP 5 exe, he GPFs and gets the message : UTILITY caused an exception 10H in module VFP500.DLL at 0157:102d993c. Where UTILITY is the vfp executable we've built. With the same program compiled in 6, his machine totally locks up and dies. He's done this on two different machines now, a Gateway P133 with 36MB and a Gateway PIII 450 with 128MB. I'm not sure if he's installed some software that has a conflict or what, most of the stuff he has on there is pretty vanilla. I've checked all the basic settings, tsrs, and ini and bat files known to man and don't see anything out of place. I've run
>out of ideas short of wiping his machine and starting over, but I'm not sure that would fix it. Could it be some lan related problem, it seems unlikely since it's just these two reports, but at this point I'm even open to X-file interpretation.

It's probably your printer driver, especially if it's HP. Try using an HP printer driver that comes with Windows, not the driver that comes with the printer.
