Frank,

I appreciated your reply! I tried your usage of the .inbuffercount recomendation, but I'm receiving "0" as its value (futher confirmation that I'm not seeing the stream sent to the comm port). Just to recap, I'm sending an 80 character stream to the commport from another device. It's a passive execution so no commands are being sent from MSCOMM to initiate the sequence (I'm manually sending that stream from that other device). I know the commport is working because when using a dumb terminal (i.e. Hyperterm) the character stream comes through with no problem. I figure there must something basic I'm missing. I do have RThreshold Property set to 80 so that when the 80 characters is received it will fire the OnComm Event in which I have commands to place .Imput into a listbox. But I don't think it's getting that far.

What do you think?

Thanks In Advance,
Craig
