AVIs as an OLE object

I'd like to add an AVI to a form as an OLE object. That
part is simple. However, what I'd like it to do is not,
and I'm hoping someone else has done this before and
can help me with it.

I want the AVI to play continuously as a backgrounded
process. That means that the AVI bar (stop, play, pause
etc.) buttons should now show, and that the AVI should
continue to play even when the user is doing something
else on the form, like filling in a text box.

So far, my experimental efforts have yielded the
information that I can issue a DoVerb("play") on the
OLE object, and the AVI will play, but as soon as I
click on another object, it stops playing. And I can't
get it to repeat, even if I leave everything else alone.

Help?
