John,
>>Let's not forget the world is larger and wider than the US. It's pretty hypocritic to pretend there are no people out there >who have financial problems, and cannot pay for the UT. Excluding them seems just not fair to me.
>GIVE ME A PHYSICAL BREAK!!
I will.....
>I can't afford a new car, but the car dealerships don't think this is unfair and give me a new one free. There is discrimination at all levels of society based on your ability to pay or not to pay. To whine about it is absurd, they need to go out and do something to change their position.
You draw the wrong paralells. If someone in the US buys a car, you'll pay about half the price of that same car bought in the netherlands. In asia this car would probably much cheaper.
I do regard your opinion rather hypocritic. Let's look at the guy's from non-north america countries: Cetin and dragan and probably more valuable VFP developers will likely not have that budget where the avarage american can pull from. Must we say: "Well it's sad boy's, but you've got the pay the bill or else we 'll kick you off the UT" ? Is this what our community is about ???
This site is mainly about the VFP/FP community, it's not like a commercial car dealer business. If we want to do that, we should accepted the proposal of MS withdrawing the MVP program, and all subscribe to some MS runned support program. Is this what you like ???
Once again, for if you didn't read the other messages: I'm not a PUTM member which has nothing to do with personal fincancial problems.
Walter,
