Thanks for responding....
I tried refreshing the grid after the delete and this doesn't work the record still appears in the grid...I tried doing a browse on the view and it does show deleted but it still shows in the grid. Set deleted is on.
Anyway, to get the record to not show in the grid I do a requery on the view and make sure the the table the view is based on is not in the data environment. If the table is in the data environment the requery does not make the deleted record disappear.
I wonder if this requery is causing the the deletion to be committed to the base table.
I hope this makes sense....I can't find a solution to this problem.
