I have spent some time building a grid that allows you to append records to a filtered table and found some funky issues with grids. First, if you want to navigate in a grid you need to start from the textbox in the column that you want trap the required action to initiate from (meaning that keystrokes or mouseclicks occur in the active control). Perform what ever actions you want and then use grid.activatecell(row,column) to set your focus and refresh the grid before refreshing the form.

This is working for me while trapping a down arrow and testing for last record in a filtered table.
