Do you have Shell32.dll in your system directory? It's installed with any number of different products, but you need version 4.71 or later.

If so, how does it "bomb out?"

>I tried 'oShell = createobject('Shell.Application')' in the command window and it bombs out. Is this object part of the Windows Scripting Host? In the WSH, there is a WshSell object but it doesn't do all the stuff you are talking about. Where can I find out about this thing. It looks interesting.
