That said, I clearly have struck a chord here. There are those that feel that performance is pretty bad. As for paying vs non-paying people, I am totally off that boat. The whole thing should be FREE, funded by advertising. That will open the whole thing up to everybody.

I understand that you folks in Canada have some dis-economies of scale with regard to high-bandwidth Internet Access. That is a lousy situation. But, it is what is... My cristisms are mostely centered around how this whole thing is being handled. To date, there has not been an official statement by Michel.

My beef is that the PUTM, of which you are one, is being forced to pay more money to fund some future infrastructure improvements. Heck, I am trying to stick up for the folks that have to pay good hard-earned money to get the additional benefits up here. Yes, I do not pay. I don't think it is fair you guys get stuck with the whole bill. I suspect most folks that got angry with what I said had a big issue with my statements regarding folks that do not pay. I have pretty much retracted that whole view point. I am for free access across the board.

I am sorry Jim.. Its just that I get sick and tired of hearing how the UT is a business. It is clear that it is being run nothing like a business. There is nothing I can do about that, except express my opinion...
