can't you put an exit button on the form to release it? Then, if you
used doformretval, if the return value doesn't meet the required
parameter, the user gets kicked out.
BTW, ON KEY LABEL is not a property of anything. It is enabled until to
clear it. If you issue ON KEY LABEL Alt+X CANCEL in you app setup
procedure, you'll always be able to exit using that, unless you
overwrite it or clear it.
