Hi Claude,

I've used Y2KFOX for DOS & Windows and have spent many hours testing it. It's very easy to install and use. The only problem I found was due to a bad programming technique with software I was trying to Y2K proof rather than Y2KFOX. The problem I found was a date field in one of our databases which was stored as a character field in the form YYMMDD that Y2KFOX didn't interpret.

It allows you to set your own rollover. E.g. you can specify that 2 digit years from 21 to 99 are intepreted as being in the 1900s and 00 to 20 as being in the 2000s. If someone enters a 2 digit year it will automatically interpret it and prefix the date with the appropriate century. It doesn't touch dates that are entered with a 4 digit year.

I haven't had any problems with Y2KFOX when working with true date fields. I highly recommend it.

I found the documentation to be reasonably helpful too. Hope this helps.

Regards,
Gavin...

>If so what is experience with it in Windows 95/98? Did it's window technique solve your roll over problems and how easy was it to install. If you had problems what where they.
