If you are using a RowSourceType of 0-None, you do not need the .Requery() or the .Refresh(). The .AddItem is enough. Just an FYI

This is exactly what I would expect to happen. Whatever you populate the combo with in its init is what you are going to see when the form instantiates < s >.
