Back in my Foxpro DOS/Windows days I had to deal with the ICE message far more than I wanted to. MS's web site has a document that listed a bucnh of possible causes and remedies. You would probably find it by searching on Internal Consistenct Error and viewing each result until you find the doc I'm referring to (I would get it for you but I'm swamped for time). My experience showed a variety of causes. The most common one s I ran into were;

corrupted indecies
deleting and recreating the Windows swap file
Using a different PC - problem with RAM or motherboard
Using different FOXUSER resource files
