What version of VFP? I ran into this once or twice with the first release of VFP 5.0. I never did figure out what caused it, although it seemed to happen when I had two or more forms open for modification at the same time. It almost looked like compiled code got put where the source code should have been. I haven't seen this happen for a long time now, although I'm still cautious about having multiple forms open for modification at the same time and I keep my backups current.
