If you're talking about populating several comboboxes with the same data source, you can point each to the same RowSource and use the same RowSourceType, and give each its own ControlSource to play with - and that just using the native combobox control in VFP - no magic. A combobox in VFP can have several different types of RowSourceTypes - arrays, tables, query resilts of various sorts and a variety of others (10 distinct RowSourceTypes are all accomodated, 8 of which don't have to be hand-populated an item at a time...)
