I have an .EXE that runs fine from within Visual FoxPro (V 6.0 SP3). The main form is a PageFrame with three pages.

When I create an icon on my desktop to run the .EXE, the main form never appears. The program IS running, however, as it's listed when I press Ctrl-Alt-Del.

I put some "WAIT WINDOW" messages in:

- the start of the main form INIT
- the end of the main form INIT
- at the begininnig of Page 1 Activate
- at the end of Page 1 Activate
- in the form Activate

They all appear, oc, when I run it from within VFP.

When I run the program from the desktop icon, I get both messages from the main form INIT, but nothing after that.


This is my 5th VFP project and I've never run into anything like this before. My system is W95, but I also have the same effect on my W98 notebook. I MUST be missing something. Any input is appreciated (I'm getting desperate).
